The Friends of the DAF Museum Foundation aims to acquire, preserve, and exhibit the industrial heritage of DAF and the Van Doorne brothers to the public. In addition, the Museum is highly active in education on technology and traffic safety through its own Trucknasium and the DAF Safe Traffic Zone. Every year, many school classes visit us.

The DAF Museum is unique. It operates independently, without government support or other public subsidies. It is run by around 200 volunteers who passionately and proudly share their knowledge and experience with visitors and the Museum every day. The Museum welcomes 60,000 visitors annually in its more than 7,000 m² exhibition space.

The DAF Museum is already preparing for 2028, when DAF will celebrate its 100th anniversary. This milestone is a great opportunity to make the museum future-proof. That means modernizing, professionalizing, digitizing, and expanding in the areas of education, technology, and sustainable mobility. Due to these future plans - and because we are independent of government support - we are looking for new sponsors who care deeply about the DAF Museum and its heritage.

For an annual contribution of €500 / €1,500 / €2,500, you can become a sponsor of the Friends of the DAF Museum Foundation.

In return, you will receive:

  • A sponsor pass granting free admission to the museum for 2, 5, or 10 people per year (depending on the sponsorship amount).
  • 10% discount on purchases in the museum shop (excluding books).
  • The museum newsletter.
  • Invitations to special events.
  • Your company name displayed on the sponsor board in the museum hall.
  • A discount of 15%, 30%, or 50% (depending on the sponsorship amount) on the base rental fee for museum facilities to host an event, such as a reception or company meeting. This discount applies to one event per sponsorship year and does not include catering/refreshments. Guided tours will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
