Trucknasium is looking for volunteers

The Trucknasium is a young department within the DAF Museum that develops teaching programmes for students aged 10-15 years. With practical examples, assignments and simulations, these students gain a knowledge of the multifaceted world of road transport with trucks. Various aspects with respect to engineering, testing and production as well as the significance of trucks for logistics form a challenge within the relevant innovative branch for visitors to the Trucknasium.

We are constantly recruiting new volunteers for our Trucknasium team. Together with about 25 colleagues, we are currently occupied with the further expansion and execution of the Trucknasium teaching programme. Yearly we host about 1200 students, and in a few years that will have grown to 1600 participants thanks to the enormous interest shown by regular education in our teaching programme.

In the short term we are looking for a number of people to supervise volunteers and a volunteer host.

For the long term we are also looking for reinforcements for our educational development team.
We ask anyone interested in our development team, which compiles new teaching programmes and provides updates for the current lesson modules, to contact the email address given below.
